Shauna Alloway is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and was licensed through the Oregon Board of Social Workers in April of 2022. While she does specialize with specific demographics, she finds it a privilege to serve those from every population and situation to overcome various challenges and heal from potential traumatic experiences.
Shauna is a therapist trained in evidence based practices with over 10 years experience working with children, families, and individuals in a variety of environments. She has extensive experience in creating individualized safety plans to support clients and supporting families in times of crisis. Her treatment approaches and interventions are derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Family Systems Theory and other modalities focused on psycho-education. Providing an emotionally safe and individualized treatment approach is important to the therapist, as well as meeting the client and family where they are at. She is passionate about supporting all people and specializes in the following areas;
