Veronica works from a place of connection and understanding with emphasis on resiliency, helping clients engage their strengths to reach their goals. Veronica began her therapist journey in 2013 working with adolescents struggling with substance abuse and emotional challenges. After receiving her Bachelors in Social Work in 2015 she went on to work as an onsite mental health therapist throughout the school system working with children and families from ages K-12, as well as young adults on college campuses navigating early adulthood. Veronica received her Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2018 with an emphasis on child development. She has experience and training working with women and teens struggling with eating disorders in various settings from outpatient to residential services.
Veronica utilizes various modalities depending on the unique needs of each individual/family, working from a solution focused, strengths based lens. Her adaptive approach and encouragement of clients to step into their own power, allows for a collaborative, productive therapeutic relationship to thrive. In her free time she enjoys being outside as much as possible adventuring on the local trails, rivers, and mountains. As a registered yoga instructor she is passionate about integrating movement and mindfulness into all aspects of her life, believing the positive implications this has on mental wellbeing!
