Micheal F. Harris received his Bachelor’s degree in Family Psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University Cum Laude in 1994. He completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University in 1999 with an emphasis on the integration of religion/spirituality and psychology.
Micheal has over 20 years experience accompanying children, adolescents, and adults on their voyage toward wholeness and healing. He owned and operated a foster home for developmentally delayed adults for 15 years where he provided a safe home for those struggling with intellectual and mental health issues. Prior to this, Micheal treated children, adolescents and adults who faced legal difficulties as well as a variety of mental health issues. He believes in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being and seeks to walk with his clients as they integrate this truth and others into their own lives.
Micheal employs multiple therapeutic modalities depending upon the needs of each individual client. He seeks to look beyond an individual’s diagnosis, to meet each individual where they are on their current journey, and to travel alongside them as they grow into their full potential. Micheal encourages his clients to explore and examine their own mental and spiritual beliefs to determine how those beliefs add to, or subtract from, their quality of life.
